The Way Forward for OOH Advertising - Location Intelligence

If there is one thing that can make or break an OOH Campaign, it's the location. Out of home, but where, exactly?

Since the advent of OOH advertising, countless brands have chosen billboards, hoardings, and even public transportation ads to reach their audience and gain an edge over their competitors. And it has worked out pretty well, to be honest. However, time changes, and with that, changes everything else, as did the face of OOH advertising. 

Despite the downfall OOH endured during the pandemic, it has emerged stronger and remains one of the most effective advertising mediums.  

In fact, OOH is 382% more effective than TV, 200% more effective than print, and 63% more effective than radio in driving consumers online, according to the OAAA. 

So, how did OOH make a comeback?  

Two words, Location Intelligence. Well, there are other contributing factors, but Location Intelligence tops the list.  

Gone are the days when brands would shoot in the dark, and a busy street and availability were the only criteria for picking a location for OOH advertising. The KPIs were hopes and assumptions.  

It worked at the time, but there was no way to make it work better.  

Now, by integrating location intelligence into the process of OOH advertising, it is possible to draw valuable insights, make informed, data-driven decisions and analyze and optimize campaigns based on specific key performance metrics.  

It allows improved targeting, enhanced campaign performance, accurate audience analysis, and ultimately, increased ROI. It's safe to say that Location Intelligence has revolutionized OOH advertising by maximizing its impact. It helps agencies gain their clients’ trust by delivering real insights and value. 

Location Intelligence hasn’t only helped OOH advertising recover, but also revamp. The results are now considered promising as opposed to earlier when they were unpredictable.
